Press-fit pin socket for 0.025"–0.037" pins
The 0401-0-15-15-47-27-04-0 is a single-circuit press-fit pin receptacle from Mill-Max's 0401 series, designed to accept round pins from 0.025" to 0.037" diameter or square pins of 0.025". The beryllium copper contact is gold-plated to 30.0µin, and the socket operates from -55°C to 125°C.
What the press-fit tail means on site
Press-fit termination eliminates soldering — the 0.025" tail diameter presses into a 0.064" plated-through hole, which means the socket can be re-pinned on site with a basic arbor press and no heat. The 0.600" overall length and 0.230" socket depth leave enough tail projection to clear the board underside for through-hole routing.
