DIP socket, 28-position open frame
The 110-43-328-10-001000 is a 28-contact (16 loaded) DIP socket in Mill-Max's 110 series, arranged on a 0.300" (7.62 mm) row spacing with 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch between contacts. Mating contacts are gold-plated (30.0 µin / 0.76 µm) over beryllium copper; the solder tails are tin-plated (200.0 µin / 5.08 µm) over brass alloy. Rated 3 A per contact, the open-frame PCT housing allows airflow around the device during operation.
Position loading and footprint
The 28-position grid (2 x 14) carries 16 loaded contacts — the remaining positions are unpopulated, reducing the pin count while keeping the standard 0.300" row spacing footprint. The 0.100" pitch and through-hole termination match the layout of a 28-pin DIP device, with the termination post length of 0.125" (3.18 mm) for solder insertion.
