8-pin DIP socket for through-hole ICs
The 111-47-308-41-001000 is the 8-position (2 x 4) member of Mill-Max's 111 series DIP sockets, designed for 0.3" (7.62mm) row-spacing ICs. Gold-plated beryllium copper mating contacts rated 3 A per pin, housed in an open-frame PCT/Polyester body rated -55°C to 125°C.
Pitch, footprint, and current capacity
Mating and post pitch are both 0.100" (2.54mm) with 0.170" (4.32mm) termination post length — the footprint matches standard DIP-8 PCB layouts. The 3 A per-contact rating is typical for gold-plated machined contacts in this class; the open-frame construction aids convection cooling around the socket body.
