Single-post pin for press-fit board mounting
The 1160-0-01-80-00-00-03-0 is a non-insulated PC pin from Mill-Max's 1160 series, designed for press-fit installation into a 0.080" (2.03mm) mounting hole. The pin measures 0.590" (14.99mm) overall with a 0.315" (8.00mm) length above the flange and a 0.060" (1.52mm) pin diameter above the flange. The flange diameter is 0.090" (2.29mm). Contact finish is tin with a thickness of 200.0µin (5.08µm) over a brass alloy contact material.
Press-fit mounting and hole sizing
The press-fit termination requires a 0.080" (2.03mm) mounting hole diameter. The 0.090" (2.29mm) flange seats against the board surface, providing a positive stop during insertion. Through-hole mounting supports the pin for wire termination or as a solderless test point. The 0.060" (1.52mm) pin diameter above the flange accepts standard wire-wrap or clip-on connections.
