The housing is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP), glass-filled, rated UL94 V-0.
Push-pull retention; no secondary lock, so in vibration-prone environments a TPA or locking housing is recommended on the receptacle side. Board layout uses a 2.54 mm grid; the through-hole footprint is the same as industry-standard 0.100" breakaway headers, so it is a drop-in replacement for many 6-pin dual-row designs.
The UL94 V-0 rating and gold mating finish support use in medical, automotive, lighting, and telecommunications equipment as listed in the application scope.
