IDC Plug for SL Series — 4-Position, 0.100" Pitch
The Molex 0014442504 is a 4-circuit IDC plug from the SL 70475 series, terminated to 24 AWG discrete or ribbon cable. The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard SL header footprint on a PCB — the same spacing used across the SL family for board-to-wire interconnects. The closed-end housing prevents stubbing against the header shroud during mating.
IDC termination punches through the insulation in one press operation — no wire stripping or individual crimping.
Mating and Series Compatibility
This plug mates with any SL 70475 series PCB header of matching 4-circuit count and 0.100" pitch — vertical or right-angle, through-hole or surface-mount. No secondary latch or TPA on this plug; the closed-end housing provides the primary alignment and strain relief.
