Contacts Are Ordered Separately — What Fits
The KK254 series uses Molex 2759 or 2873 series crimp terminals (tin or gold plating depending on your mating cycle and corrosion requirements). The terminals are non-gendered per the spec, meaning the same part number works for both sides of the crimp. Termination is a standard crimp operation — no soldering, no special tooling beyond a ratchet crimp frame and the appropriate anvil set for 22-28 AWG wire.
Mating Header and Polarization
This receptacle mates with any 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch KK254 pin header of matching 11 positions and single row. The housing is polarized — the internal keying geometry prevents inserting it backwards onto the header. The header side is typically a Molex 22-27-2111 or equivalent vertical or right-angle pin strip.
