Breakaway construction means the 6-position strip is snapped from a longer pin carrier; the break lines are clean and the remaining pins are fully functional. The unshrouded design gives the assembler visual access to the solder joints for inspection.
Contact Plating and Solder Termination
Both the mating contact and the solder post carry 100 µinch tin plating — thick enough for moderate-cycle applications (50–100 mates) and compatible with wave-solder processes.
Housing Material and Flame Rating
