Through-Hole Mount, Solder Termination, and Board Layout

The header mounts through-hole with solder termination. The 0.172" (4.37 mm) post length and 0.450" (11.43 mm) mating pin length give a total contact length of 0.750" (19.05 mm). The 0.500" (12.70 mm) insulation height provides clearance above the board for wire routing or mating connector clearance. The square male pins are brass with tin post finish.

This header mates with KK396 crimp receptacle housings (series 41671) using standard KK396 crimp terminals. For a complete build-to-print BOM, specify the matching receptacle housing and terminals separately — they are not included with this header.
