The unshrouded header mates with KK396 crimp receptacle housings (series 41772) for wire-to-board connections, or with another header for board-to-board stacking. Applications span automotive, general purpose, industrial, medical, and telecommunications — the tin plating and V-0 housing suit equipment inside an enclosure where moderate vibration and occasional disconnection are expected.
