Vertical ZIF FFC connector, 1.25 mm pitch
The 0039532205 is the 20-position member of Molex's 5597 series vertical FFC/FPC connector line, using a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) slide-lock actuator to secure the flex cable without insertion force. Contacts are tin bismuth on phosphor bronze, rated 1 A per contact at 200 V, with a 0.30 mm FFC/FPC thickness acceptance and 30 mating cycles.
Cable entry and mounting fit
The connector accepts straight-entry FFC/FPC with contacts on one side (vertical, 1-sided), and the slide lock retains the cable after insertion — no secondary latch needed. Through-hole mounting with solder termination places the connector 0.295" (7.50 mm) above the board; the housing and actuator are PBT/polyester with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
