Board-to-Cable Header with IP67 Seal
The 0194280012: The 5.84 mm pitch and 6.00 mm row spacing set the PCB footprint and align with the matching MX150L receptacle—confirm the board layout against the mating half before committing. IP67 ingress protection is valid only when fully mated and locked with the corresponding receptacle. Unmated, the header is not sealed—cap the open half if the assembly sits exposed between shifts.
Mounting is dual: panel mount flanges secure the header to a cutout, while through-hole solder tails (0.130" post length) anchor it to the PCB. The combination handles cable strain better than a board-only mount. Board guide features aid alignment during panel insertion, and the mounting flange accepts a screw or bolt for additional mechanical retention.
Contact Plating and Material Choices
Both mating and post contacts carry 100 µinch tin plating over a copper alloy base. That thickness is standard for sealed, moderate-cycle applications—tin is cost-effective and corrosion-resistant in the IP67 environment, though it does not match gold's cycle life above 50 mates.
