10-Position Sealed Receptacle Housing for Harsh Environments
Three integrated features define the reliability of this connector: Connector Position Assurance (CPA) locks the mated pair to prevent accidental separation under vibration, Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) confirms each crimp terminal is fully seated, and the housing is sealed against moisture and debris ingress. These are the hallmarks of a USCAR-grade automotive connector system.
Mating Connector and Compatible Contacts
For a 10-circuit sealed header, look to the Stac64 31372 series male housings. The female socket contacts are crimp-terminated and sold separately. The TPA feature in this housing will not engage unless the terminal is fully inserted.
The 10-position count and dual-row layout are specific to this variant; a 12-position sibling (0313721801) exists in the same series if the circuit count differs.
Where the Sealing and CPA Matter Most
The sealed housing with CPA and TPA is specified for under-hood automotive harnesses, industrial control cabinets exposed to washdown, and outdoor telecom enclosures where a loose connection means a service call.
