Housing Only — Order Terminals Separately
It carries a 5.00mm pitch, single-row layout, and a black glass-filled nylon 6 housing rated from -40°C to 125°C. The locking ramp fastening holds the mated pair under vibration, and the integrated Terminal Position Lock (TPA) provides a secondary check that each crimp terminal is fully seated before the connector ships as an assembly.
What the TPA and Locking Ramp Mean for Your Assembly
The TPA (Terminal Position Lock) is a secondary retainer that slides into the housing after the terminals are inserted. It prevents a partially seated terminal from backing out under wire strain or vibration — a common failure mode in harnesses that see engine-bay or chassis-mount duty. Together they make this housing suited for applications where a loose connection is not an option: underhood harnesses, off-road equipment, or industrial control cabinets where the connector is field-mated and unmated repeatedly.
Mating and Terminal Fit
This plug housing mates with the matching MX150 receptacle header (same 34675 series, 5.00mm pitch, 2-position). The male blade contacts are crimp-terminated and sold separately — the housing accepts the MX150 male crimp terminal (order separately, e.g. Molex 34345 series). The bracket mount on the housing allows panel or bracket attachment for strain relief in fixed installations.
