Panel-mount terminal strip, 12 circuits, screw termination
The Molex 0391001912 is a 12-circuit, dual-row Eurostyle terminal strip from the 39100 series. It mounts to a chassis or panel — no PCB footprint needed — and terminates field wiring through screws on the top side with a closed bottom, so it acts as a junction point rather than a pass-through. The 0.315" (8.00 mm) pitch gives enough spacing between terminals for 12-22 AWG wire without crowding the screw heads.
Sizing the wire entries and screw terminals
The strip accepts 12-22 AWG stranded or solid wire across 24 wire entries — two per circuit, one on each row. Each screw clamps the conductor under a zinc-plated steel head; the enclosed barrier keeps stray strands from shorting to adjacent terminals. For a 20 A circuit, 12 AWG is the recommended gauge to minimise voltage drop over longer runs; 22 AWG is usable for signal-level connections where the current stays well below the 20 A rating.
