The Molex 0442480086 is a 4-port stacked modular jack from the 44248 series, wired 8P8C for standard RJ45 Ethernet patch cables.
The jack is rated Cat3, which means it is specified for voice and 10BASE-T Ethernet up to 16 MHz. It will physically accept a Cat5e or Cat6 plug — the 8P8C form factor is identical — but the signal path inside the jack is not tuned for the higher frequencies of 100BASE-TX or Gigabit Ethernet. If you are wiring a legacy PBX or a 10 Mb control network, this jack is a direct fit. For 100 Mb or faster, look for a Cat5e-rated jack in the same footprint.
