Micro HDMI Receptacle for Board-Mount Video Links
The Molex 0467650001 is a Micro HDMI Type D receptacle from the 46765 series, designed for surface-mount right-angle attachment to a PCB. Its 19 contacts match the standard Micro HDMI pinout used in HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 applications, carrying both TMDS data lanes and the control channel. The shielded steel shell bleeds common-mode noise to the board ground plane, which is necessary to maintain signal integrity at the multi-gigabit data rates HDMI demands. The 5000-cycle durability rating means this receptacle holds up to frequent cable connects and disconnects in field-service or test-equipment roles without losing contact wipe.
The 19 SMT pads follow the standard Micro HDMI Type D footprint — no special keep-out beyond the shell's ground tabs. The steel shield is soldered to the board's ground plane through those tabs, which also provide mechanical retention against cable insertion forces. The solder retention feature is particularly useful for high-volume reflow lines where the part must stay seated during paste reflow without secondary hold-downs.
