The 0522070960 is a 9-position member of Molex's 52207 series FFC/FPC connector family, using a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) slide-lock actuator for top-contact termination. Rated 1 A per contact at 125 V, the gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts accept 0.30 mm thick FFC or FPC cable and are specified for 30 mating cycles.
Contact side and actuator
The top-contact orientation means the cable's conductive pads face upward when inserted into the SMT right-angle housing. The slide lock secures the cable after insertion — no insertion force on the contacts, only on the actuator. Gold plating at 3.94 µin (0.10 µm) on the contact finish supports the 30-cycle durability rating; the actuator material is PPS, the housing is PA46 rated UL94 V-0.
