ZIF flip lock at 0.50 mm pitch
The 0524372272 is the 22-position member of Molex's Easy-On 52437 FFC/FPC connector line, using a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) flip-lock actuator that secures the flex cable without insertion force. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 50 V, it accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC or FPC with bottom-side contacts and mounts surface-mount right-angle, standing 0.079" (2.00 mm) above the board.
Board-fit and routing density
At 0.020" (0.50 mm) pitch, the 22 circuits route through a narrow footprint — the ZIF actuator and solder retention pads keep the connector seated during reflow and cable insertion without a secondary latch.
Temperature range and materials
The housing is glass-filled PA46 rated UL94 V-0, the actuator is glass-filled PPS, and the contacts are phosphor bronze with tin bismuth finish. Operating range spans -40°C to 85°C.
