18 circuits at 0.50 mm pitch
The 0525591870 is the 18-circuit member of Molex's Easy-On 52559 FFC/FPC connector line, using a 0.020" (0.50 mm) pitch and ZIF actuation with a slide lock. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 50 V, with tin bismuth mating surfaces and a vertical one-sided contact arrangement that accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC.
ZIF lock and FFC thickness
The slide-lock ZIF actuator holds the FFC without insertion force — the contact beam wipes the pad on closure and the lock keeps positive retention. Accepted FFC thickness is 0.30 mm; the cable end can be straight or tapered.
