ZIF vertical FFC connector, 0.50 mm pitch
The 0525593672 is the 36-position member of Molex's Easy-On 52559 FFC/FPC connector series, a vertical SMT connector with zero insertion force (ZIF) actuation and a slide lock. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 50 V, it accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC or FPC with straight or tapered cable ends, and the contacts are tin bismuth plated on phosphor bronze.
Pitch, thickness, and board fit
The 0.50 mm pitch and 0.30 mm accepted FFC thickness set the board footprint and cable insertion requirements — the vertical orientation and 3.90 mm height above board suit dense layouts where side clearance is limited.
