The Molex 0716607030 is a 30-position receptacle from the EBBI 71660 series, designed as the board-mount half of a parallel board-to-board interconnect. It carries outer shroud contacts in a 2-row layout on 0.050" (1.27mm) pitch — the tightest pitch in the EBBI 71660 family, which keeps the board footprint compact for high-density mezzanine cards. The through-hole mounting and 9.80mm above-board height set the mated stack height with the matching header, so the z-axis clearance in the enclosure needs to accommodate that dimension.
The 0.050" pitch requires a tight via pattern on the PCB. The board guide protects solder joints from shear forces during mating.

The header part numbers in the 071660 series share the same footprint and stack height, so the mated pair gives a parallel board-to-board connection at the 9.80mm receptacle height plus the header's above-board dimension. No other series cross-mates; the outer shroud contact design is specific to EBBI 71660.
