This jack supports two mounting paths: panel-mount through a bulkhead with the included front-side nut and lockwasher, or a right-angle through-hole solder termination to a PCB.
Construction and Materials — What the Body and Finish Tell You
The body is zinc alloy with a nickel finish — the standard build for a general-purpose BNC that sees indoor or sheltered outdoor use. Nickel resists corrosion and scuffing during repeated connect/disconnect cycles. The dielectric is polypropylene (PP), a stable RF insulator that holds the 75 Ohm impedance across the operating band.
