The Molex 0744410007 is a 30-position XFP receptacle from the Z-Axis Pluggable 74441 series, designed as the board-side interface for XFP transceiver cages. The 30 contacts match the XFP electrical interface defined by the XFP MSA, carrying the full complement of differential data pairs, control signals, and power pins. A built-in board guide on the receptacle body helps align the module cage during assembly and reduces shear stress on the SMT solder joints when the cage is seated.

Mounting and Assembly Fit

Termination is solder-only, with the right-angle SMT footprint placing all 30 pads on one side of the board. The connector is supplied on Tape & Reel (also available in Cut Tape), suited for pick-and-place reflow assembly.
