7.92 mm Pitch — Wide Spacing for Higher Current or Large Wire
The 10-63-4047: The 7.92 mm pitch on this single-row, 4-position header is the widest in the KK series, giving each contact room to carry more current than the standard 2.54 mm or 3.96 mm KK headers. At this spacing, the board footprint is generous — you can route thicker traces between pads without necking down, and the mating receptacle can accept larger-gauge wire without crowding the terminal cavity. The shrouded 1-wall design protects the pins from accidental shorting during handling, though the open side still allows side-entry mating with the receptacle.

The tin-plated male pins mate with tin-plated female terminals in the receptacle; the contact finish is matched, so there is no galvanic corrosion risk in indoor environments. The through-hole solder termination means the header is soldered into the PCB — the 0.142" (3.60 mm) post length is long enough for a standard 1.6 mm board with a solder fillet on the bottom side.
Flammability and Material Notes
The housing is molded from polyamide (PA66) nylon 6/6 with a UL94 V-2 flammability rating. V-2 is acceptable for most equipment inside an enclosure — it allows some dripping of burning material, which is why it is not rated for open-air or high-fire-risk applications. For environments requiring V-0, a different housing material would be needed.
