Current and voltage limits for your circuit
Each contact is rated 3A at 250V. For a 2-position header, that means the pair can handle up to 3A per line — enough for signal-level loads, low-power sensors, or control wiring.
This header mates with SL series crimp housings or IDC receptacles that accept the 0.100" pitch. The board guide and polarizing key ensure the connector can only go in one way, preventing reverse mating. Termination is solder for the SMD tails; the right-angle orientation means the solder joints are on the board edge, which can simplify visual inspection.
