Power contact for D-sub crimp termination
The 1727040150 is a machined female socket contact in Molex's FMP, FCT 172704 series, designed for 16-20 AWG wire and crimp termination into D-sub connectors. Gold plating on both the mating surface (31.5µin / 0.80µm) and the termination end (8.00µin / 0.203µm) provides corrosion resistance across repeated mating cycles.
Plating thickness and signal reliability
