D-Sub Receptacle, 9-Position, DE-1 Shell
It carries 9 signal contacts in a dual-row layout, rated 5A per contact, with machined copper alloy contacts and a white glass-filled polyester insulator. The shell is steel with tin plating, and the housing flange is unthreaded — the mating plug provides the threaded insert for jack-screw retention.
Through-hole solder termination suits this receptacle for standard PCB mounting. The unthreaded flange means the connector body is held to the panel by the mating half's hardware — the shell does not carry its own threaded insert. For panel-mount applications, the mating D-Sub plug must supply the female screw-lock or hex-jackscrew hardware.
Rating and Environment
Rated 5A per contact, the current limit here is set by the pin density in the DE-9 shell, not the contact itself — standard-density D-Sub practice.
