Board-fit and routing: 1.00 mm pitch, 5 positions, right-angle SMT
The 2005280051: The 1.00 mm pitch sets the PCB land pattern and the FPC conductor spacing — at 5 positions the connector occupies just 5 mm of board edge, leaving room for adjacent components in a dense layout.
ZIF flip-lock and solder retention
Zero insertion force (ZIF) actuation with a black flip-lock actuator: the FPC inserts without force, then the actuator locks it in place. The housing and actuator are glass-filled LCP (UL94 V-0), which holds dimensional stability through reflow and resists flame propagation inside the equipment enclosure.
Contact interface and current ceiling
In a single-connect or infrequent-service application (e.g., a display cable inside a consumer device), that cycle count is sufficient; in a field-service harness that gets disconnected quarterly, the gold will wear through before the product life ends. For signal-level FFC runs (LVDS, I²C, sensor data), 1 A is ample; for power delivery, the connector should be paralleled across multiple positions or a higher-current sibling selected.
Rated for -40°C to 150°C, which covers automotive cabin and industrial cabinet environments. The connector accepts FPC or FFC 0.30 mm thick with a straight, tabbed cable end.
