The Molex 2018431030 is a 3-position, single-row header from the MultiCat 201843 series, designed for Board to Cable/Wire applications. Its 7.40mm pitch and 1200V rating make it a fit for power distribution where standard 2.54mm or 4.2mm headers would risk creepage failure.

The 7.40mm pitch is unusually wide for a 3-position header, driven by the 1200V voltage rating. This spacing provides the creepage distance needed for high-voltage isolation without relying on conformal coating. PEI holds its mechanical properties well above the 105°C ceiling of standard PBT housings.
Contact finish and termination
Mating contacts are gold-plated (3.90µin thickness), providing corrosion resistance and reliable contact through repeated mating cycles in corrosive environments. The solder tails are tin-plated (196.9µin) for compatibility with standard lead-free soldering processes. The contact material is copper alloy, and the contact shape is circular — a standard male pin interface that mates with the corresponding MultiCat receptacle terminal.
