The Molex 2086588121 is a 19-contact HDMI receptacle from the 208658 series, built to the HDMI 2.1 specification. It is a shielded, surface-mount, right-angle connector with a horizontal flange mount, designed for board-edge installation where the cable enters parallel to the PCB. The gold-plated contacts are rated for 0.5A per contact at 40VDC, and the brass shell provides EMI containment for the 48 Gbps data lanes HDMI 2.1 supports.

HDMI 2.1 Backward Compatibility

The higher-speed capability is only exercised when both source and sink support it.
