The outer shroud contacts mean this is the male member: the receptacle (mating half) has inner contacts that nest inside the shroud.
Stack-height budget and the mating half
The mated stacking height is 4 mm — the sum of this plug's 3.43 mm above-board height plus the receptacle's own height. To hit that 4 mm total, the mating receptacle (Molex SlimStack 501920 series, 30-position receptacle) must be selected with the same pitch and row count. The plug's surface-mount termination and Tape & Reel packaging suit automated pick-and-place for high-volume board assembly.
