Board-to-Board Mezzanine Interconnect for Tight Z-Height Budgets
What the 0.40mm Pitch and 1mm Stack Height Mean for Your Layout
The 0.40mm pitch is the tightest in the SlimStack family — it forces a dense board trace pattern and limits per-contact current to signal-level duty (the exact current rating is not listed, but the narrow pitch and light gold flash of 4.00µin (0.100µm) confirm this is a signal interconnect, not a power path). The 1mm mated stacking height is non-negotiable: the mating header must also be from the SlimStack 502426 series and produce the same 1mm stack. If your board gap is larger, you need a different member of the series with a taller height.
