14-position ZIF FPC connector with 0.50 mm pitch
The Molex 5051101492 is a 14-position, 0.50 mm pitch FPC connector from the Easy-On FD19 505110 series, terminated by solder to a right-angle SMT footprint.
At 0.50 mm pitch, trace escape from the 14 pads requires tight spacing on a standard PCB. The connector accepts FPC or FFC thickness of 0.30 mm with a tabbed, tapered cable end — the tab guides insertion and the taper reduces stress on the contact beam.
Current and temperature envelope
Gold flash (1.97 µin) on the contacts supports 25 mating cycles — enough for field service but not for repeated rework.
