Right-angle SMT header for wire-to-board in tight spaces
The locking ramp is not a cosmetic detail — it is the primary retention mechanism. In a wire-to-board connection subjected to engine vibration or equipment movement, the ramp prevents the receptacle from backing off the header. The 50VAC/DC voltage rating is a conservative ceiling for signal and low-power circuits; the 1.25mm pitch and 3.90mm insulation height provide adequate creepage for 48V automotive and general-purpose industrial control voltages.
This header mates with the Micro-Lock PLUS receptacle housing (e.g., 505568 series) and uses the matching crimp terminals (e.g., 505569 series). The 16 positions are all loaded — no empty slots.
