Standard 75 Ohm BNCs typically roll off around 4-6 GHz; the TRUE75 series pushes that to 12 GHz, covering 4K/8K video (12G-SDI) and high-data-rate telecom backhaul without swapping to a different connector family. The 75 Ohm impedance is non-negotiable for video infrastructure — a 50 Ohm BNC would create a reflection at the interface.
