75 Ohm BNC for Broadcast and High-Frequency Video
The BNC7T-J-P-HN-ST-EM1: Rated to 12 GHz and 500 V, it carries a gold-plated center contact on a copper alloy base, with a PTFE dielectric that holds the impedance tolerance across the band. The body is machined brass with nickel finish — the silver housing colour is the bare nickel, not a paint layer. The mounting is dual-purpose: board edge end launch for PCB integration, or panel mount through a bulkhead with the included lockwasher and nut. The shield and center contact both terminate by solder — no crimp tool needed.
Why 75 Ohm and 12 GHz Matter for This Connector
The 12 GHz frequency ceiling supports 12G-SDI and UHD-SDI signals without the roll-off of a standard 75 Ohm BNC rated to 3 GHz.
Two mounting options in one part: board edge end launch for a low-profile PCB connection, or panel mount with the front-side nut through a bulkhead. The kit includes the connector, lockwasher, and nut — no additional hardware to source. Both the shield and the center contact are solder-terminated; the shield termination is a solder cup or tab (per the shield termination field), and the center contact is a solder cup. The bayonet lock gives positive retention without the torque sensitivity of a threaded coupling.
