MMCX Jack, 2-Port, 50 Ohm Signal Path
The Samtec GRF1-J-P-02-E-ST-TH1 is a 2-port MMCX jack from the GRF1-J series, built as a female socket with a snap-on mating interface. The gold-plated brass body and gold-over-brass centre contact keep the signal path corrosion-resistant through repeated mate cycles in lab or field-service gear.
Through-Hole Termination with PTFE Dielectric
The dielectric is Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which holds a stable dielectric constant across the -40°C to 90°C operating range — no phase shift drift in temperature-cycled enclosures. The snap-on fastening gives a positive tactile lock without a coupling nut, which speeds field mating but means the retention force is lower than a threaded SMA — fine for internal board-to-cable links, less suited for a panel face that sees repeated tugging.
