The ICA-308-SGT uses gold mating contacts with tin post plating, while the ICA-308-SST and ICA-308-STT use tin post and tin mating contacts respectively — the gold-on-gold option provides the highest corrosion resistance and mating cycle endurance for repeated insertion and removal.
