The Samtec TRUE75™ MMCX7-J-P-GF-RA-TH1 is a 75 Ohm MMCX jack (female socket) for right-angle through-hole PCB mounting. It is part of the TRUE75™ MMCX7 series.
75 Ohm Impedance — Not a Standard 50 Ohm MMCX
This connector is rated for 75 Ohms, not the 50 Ohms common to most MMCX connectors. It will not mate correctly with a standard 50 Ohm MMCX cable assembly — the impedance mismatch will cause signal reflections and degrade performance at higher frequencies. The mating plug must also be a 75 Ohm MMCX type, such as the Samtec TRUE75™ MMCX7-P-C-GF-RA-CA3 (crimp plug for RG-179 cable). Always confirm the system impedance is 75 Ohm before specifying this jack.
Temperature Range and Deployment Environment
The gold body finish and gold center contact plating resist oxidation in humid or corrosive environments, and the PTFE dielectric maintains stable electrical properties across the full temperature range.
