75-Ohm SMB Jack, End Launch, 4 GHz
The SMB7H-J-P-H-ST-EM1: It operates up to 4 GHz, making it suited for video, broadcast, and high-frequency signal paths where 75-Ohm impedance is standard. The snap-on fastening provides quick, secure mating with the matching SMB plug. The PTFE dielectric maintains consistent impedance through temperature swings. Rated at 335 V, this jack handles typical broadcast-level voltages without derating concerns. The single-port, solder-shield termination is a clean fit for PCB edge launch designs.
End-Launch vs Right-Angle: Packaging Choice
The SMB7H-J-P-H-ST-EM1 is the end-launch, bulk-packaged variant. The closest functional alternate is the SMB7H-J-P-H-ST-TH1, which is identical in every spec — 75 Ohm, 4 GHz, end launch, gold body — but ships in a tray instead of bulk. If your pick-and-place line prefers tray feed, the -TH1 is a drop-in substitute with no performance difference. For a right-angle orientation, the SMB7H-J-P-H-RA-TH1 and SMB7H-J-P-HN-RA-TH1 offer the same electrical ratings but with a 90-degree PCB exit. The -RA-TH1 has a gold body; the -HN-RA-TH1 uses a nickel body with silver housing.
