This is a 3-piece kit: the connector body, a center contact, and a ferrule. The center contact solders to the RG-179 center conductor; the shield crimps over the ferrule. No separate parts to hunt down — one order code gets you everything for one cable end.

What the 75-Ohm Impedance Means for Your Signal Chain

Standard SMB connectors are 50 Ohm. This TRUE75 variant is 75 Ohm — the impedance for composite video, SDI, and broadband RF. If your system is 50-Ohm coax (RG-58, LMR-195), this plug will create a mismatch that kills return loss. For RG-179 and other 75-Ohm cables, it maintains the impedance through the interface.
