Mating and Termination — IDC to Ribbon Cable
This receptacle mates with a matching Tiger Eye™ TCSD header (male pin strip) of the same 20-position, 2-row, 2.00 mm pitch layout. The push-pull fastening provides positive retention without hardware. Termination is IDC: the 28 AWG ribbon cable is pressed onto the insulation-displacement contacts in one operation — no wire prep beyond squaring the cable end. The free-hanging (in-line) mount suits cable-to-board harnesses where the receptacle floats on the wire rather than locking to a panel.
