USB-A plug with board lock and 1500-cycle rating

The USB-AM-S-F-W-TH is a 4-contact USB-A plug in Samtec's USB-A series, rated for USB 2.0 signalling with a shielded phosphor bronze shell. Gold-plated contacts carry 30VAC; the right-angle through-hole termination includes a board lock for reflow retention. Rated for 1500 mating cycles across a -50°C to 85°C operating range.

White insulator and tray packaging

The USB-AM-S-F-W-TH uses a white insulator and ships in tray packaging. Within the same USB-A series, the USB-AM-S-F-B-TH shares the same 4-position, right-angle, board-lock layout but ships in bulk with a black insulator; the USB-AM-S-F-B-SM1 swaps the board lock for a board guide and uses a black insulator in tray packaging.
