The USBR-A-S-S-O-VU is the 4-contact vertical through-hole member of Samtec's USBR USB-A receptacle series. Rated 30VAC with gold-plated contacts and a board lock for retention during soldering.
Mounting orientation across the series
The USBR-A-S-S-O-VU mounts vertical through-hole, while the USBR-A-S-S-O-TH mounts horizontal through-hole — both share the same 4-contact count, gold finish, and USB 2.0 rating, so the orientation choice follows the enclosure's board-edge clearance. The USBR-A-S-F-O-VU is the vertical surface-mount sibling; the footprint differs from the through-hole USBR-A-S-S-O-VU.
