AMP-Latch IDC Plug for Ribbon Cable Harnesses
The TE Connectivity AMP-Latch 1-111506-6 is a 10-position, 2-row IDC plug designed for mass-termination to 26-28 AWG ribbon cable. The black housing includes a feed-through cable exit and integrated strain relief, which together manage the cable bend radius and protect the IDC termination points from pull forces during assembly and routing. A latch lock with eject hooks secures the mated pair and provides a positive engagement feel — the hooks also assist un-mating when the connector is packed into a dense panel layout.
The specified 26-28 AWG range covers the most common ribbon cable gauges for internal signal distribution. The integrated strain relief grips the cable jacket after termination, transferring pull loads to the housing rather than the IDC slots.
