Where This Housing Fits in the Build
This is a housing-only part — no contacts are included. You order the TE Dynamic D-2100 series female crimp terminals (typically 20-24 AWG range) separately and insert them after crimping. The latch lock gives a positive audible click on mate, which field techs appreciate when working in tight panels where you can't see the connector face. The free-hanging design means no board footprint is needed — this lives on the wire harness, not soldered to a PCB. For a harness builder, the key check is terminal compatibility: confirm the wire gauge matches the crimp terminal's range before committing the BOM line.
