N-Type Bulkhead Jack for 11 GHz RF Paths
The 1-1337417-0: Silver-plated brass body and centre contact, with a PTFE dielectric keeping the loss stable across the band. The 1000 V rating is high for an N-type; this jack can handle the peak envelope power in pulsed RF or high-power transmitter feeds without breaking down the air gap. Panel-mount bulkhead with a rear-side nut — the standard chassis feed-through arrangement for N-type enclosures.
Termination and Mounting — Solder Cup and Solder Tag
Contact termination is a solder cup — you tin the stripped centre conductor, insert into the cup, and flow solder. The shield termination is a solder tag that wraps around the cable braid or foil. This is a manual-build process, not a crimp operation; the harness builder needs a soldering iron with enough thermal mass to wet the cup without melting the PTFE. The bulkhead mount uses a rear-side nut that tightens against the panel from inside the enclosure — the jack body stays fixed while the nut is torqued. Lockwasher included in the kit to prevent the nut backing off under vibration.
That covers outdoor telecom cabinets in direct sun, unpressurised aircraft bays, and industrial enclosures near heat sources. The PTFE dielectric and silver-plated brass contacts hold their electrical properties across the full range — no dielectric creep or contact oxidation that would shift the impedance or increase insertion loss at the high end.
