Field Termination Kit for 50 Ohm Coax
It ships as a complete 6-piece kit: the connector body, braid clamp, cable clamp, center contact, sealing gasket, and locking washer — everything needed for one termination, no separate parts to order.
This plug is spec'd for RG-141A, RG-58C, and Belden 9907 cable groups — common 50 Ohm flexible and semi-rigid coax types. The center contact is solder-terminated; the shield terminates via the clamp, which grips the braid without a ferrule or crimp ring. The bayonet lock mates with any standard BNC jack in a quarter turn — no tools needed for connect or disconnect.
Insertion loss is 0.2 dB across the band — a clean number for a BNC at 4 GHz; the loss is dominated by the interface gap, not the contact. The nickel-plated brass body and gold-over-brass center contact keep the signal path corrosion-resistant and repeatable. The 500 V voltage rating is conservative for 50 Ohm systems; the real limit is the cable's breakdown voltage. For a low-PIM install, torque the bayonet nut to the manufacturer's spec — hand-tight is not repeatable.
