50 Ohm BNC bulkhead jack with hardware kit
It belongs to the Greenpar series of RF coaxial connectors, built around a brass body with nickel finish and a PTFE dielectric. Frequency response extends to 4 GHz, which covers most test-equipment and telecom signal paths below the microwave band.
Mounts through a bulkhead panel using the rear-side nut — the kit includes the lockwasher, nut, and solder tag. The shield termination is via the solder tag, which gives a clean ground connection to the chassis. The centre contact terminates with a solder cup, accepting the signal wire directly. Bayonet lock fastening provides quick mate and secure retention; the coupling nut engages with a quarter-turn and locks against vibration.
Rated 500 V and 50 Ohms impedance — the 50 Ohm figure is the standard for RF test and telecom systems, matching the characteristic impedance of RG-58 and similar cables. The 4 GHz upper frequency limit means the connector maintains a clean signal path up through the UHF and lower microwave bands; above 4 GHz the BNC interface geometry begins to support higher-order modes. The PTFE dielectric holds stable dielectric constant across that range.
